Terms of use
Effective October 21, 2026
In short. Offy is free. You pay only if you buy another 15 minutes after a limit runs out. You set the extension price yourself, in advance. Turning a limit off costs nothing.
1. Who provides the service
The Offy app is provided by:
Jakub Rusinowicz, doing business as AstroCode Jakub Rusinowiczul. Pogodna 14, 27-400 Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Poland
Tax ID (NIP) 6612380310, REGON 386840590
Email: [email protected]
In these terms we call ourselves “we” and the person using the app “you”.
2. What Offy does
- Offy lets you set a daily time limit for apps you choose on your iPhone. When the limit runs out, iOS locks the app for the rest of the day.
- For each limit, you set an extension price in advance by choosing one of the amounts in the app. After the limit runs out you can buy an extension: the app is unlocked for 15 minutes from payment, until midnight on your phone’s clock at the latest.
- You can turn a limit off for free at any time. Your streak, the number of days without giving up, then starts again from zero.
- Using the app is free. Only extensions are paid. The payment for an extension is our fee.
- Offy isn’t a parental control or a way to supervise someone else. You set limits for yourself, on your own phone.
3. What you need
- An iPhone with iOS 18.2 or later and an Apple Account.
- Permission for Offy to use Screen Time. Without it the app can’t set a limit or lock apps.
- An internet connection when you buy an extension.
- Notifications are optional. Without them you won’t be told a limit ran out, but you can still buy an extension in the app.
4. Starting and ending the agreement
- The agreement to use Offy starts when you download the app from the App Store and open it. It has no fixed end date.
- You can end it at any time by deleting the app. Deleting the app also deletes your limits and history.
- An agreement for an extension is made when you confirm the purchase in the App Store. The extension starts right after payment.
- We may stop offering the app, for example by removing it from the App Store. We’ll announce this in advance on getoffy.app. Extensions you have already bought will run to the end.
5. Payments and refunds
- Apple processes payments in the App Store, under Apple’s rules. Prices include taxes and are shown in your App Store currency. Outside Poland, Apple sets the local currency amount.
- You can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or write to us.
- An extension is digital content that starts right after payment. The app tells you this before you pay, and by paying you agree that the extension starts immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right to withdraw from the agreement. Apple sends you the purchase confirmation.
- These terms don’t limit your consumer rights, including the complaint rights in section 8.
6. Using the app
- Offy doesn’t let you publish content. Still, you may not supply unlawful content through the app or interfere with how it works.
- Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to apps downloaded from the App Store.
7. How locking works
iOS counts the time and locks apps through Screen Time. If Apple changes how this feature works, or you withdraw Offy’s Screen Time permission, limits may stop working. The app will then show what happened. If you pay for an extension you can’t use, you can ask for a refund as described in section 5.
8. Complaints
- If something doesn’t work as described, write to [email protected]. Describe the problem and, for a purchase, give its date.
- We’ll reply within 14 days of receiving your complaint.
9. Personal data
How we process data is described in the privacy policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for good reasons, such as new laws, changes to the app’s features or changes to App Store rules. We’ll announce it on getoffy.app and in the app update notes at least 14 days before a change takes effect. Changes don’t affect extensions bought earlier. If you don’t accept the changes, you can delete the app.
11. Final provisions
- These terms are available free of charge at getoffy.app/en/terms and in the app under Settings.
- Polish law applies. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of that country.
